Basement Problems

This is the drain in the floor
Not a very good job

This leads from the furnace to the drain

This is the furnace and of course the water heater
This is where all the water pools when it rains

This is one corner of the furnace
The hoses and the trench lead to the drain

This is what the toilet looked like before
Hard to see but the clay pipe has a jagged edge.
Not smooth and not connected to the other clay pipe.
Water just seeped into the ground and didn't flow out to the main sewer.
When you looks at the other pictures taken the day the sewer was replaced
you can see the jagged edge.

This is at the other end of the basement at the end of the workbench
When it rains significantly it fills and overflows.

This is under the workbench
where of course he couldn't reach with the paint to cover it up.
